Bert Guthrie

Bert M. Guthrie, born December 8, 1944 to James and Ivy Elizabeth Guthrie in Dallas, Texas. He passed away on June 23, 2008 in Mesquite, Texas. Bert was preceded in death by his parents James and Ivy Guthrie, and brother, James Guthrie and sister, Daisy West. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Isabell, children, Regina Davis and husband James; Ivy Beck, and John Guthrie and wife Cheri; 9 grandchilddren and 3 great grandchildren, sister Onie Bock and numerous nieces and nephews and cousins. Services will be on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 E. Hwy 80, Sunnyvale, Texas. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, June 25, 2008 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
