Barbara Moore

Barbara Ann Burns Moore, age 89, passed away on November 24, 2023. She was born in her grandparent's home on March 8, 1934 in Bonham, Texas to parents Clyde Aaron Burns and Doris Martin Dulaney Moss.

Barbara graduated from Bonham High School and then attended and graduated from Rutherford Metropolitan Business College. She went on to work as a Legal Secretary for 45 years at the Jackson Walker Law Firm in Dallas, Texas and retired January 1, 2000.

Barbara enjoyed attending and supporting family events, games, and other gatherings. One of her favorite activities was playing golf with her late husband, Charles. Even after his passing, she remained active on the links. And in her later years, crossword puzzles occupied a lot of her time.

Barbara is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Moore, Jr; parents, Clyde Burns and Doris Dulaney Moss; brother, James Samuel Moss.

She is survived by her sons, Harvey Brett "Pat" Moore and Charles Michael "Mike" Moore; brother, Joe Moss; grandchildren, Corrie Martin, Chad Moore, Jeremy Moore; great-grandchildren, Jaden Moore, Cara Martin, Annabelle Moore, Phoenix Moore, Slater Martin, Carter Martin, Joshua Moore, Sam Martin, Andrea Lazo, and Luis Lazo.

The family has requested that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be made to First Baptist Church of Rowlett, TX
