Aubrey Dale Smith, age 72 ,was born February 20, 1947 in Atlanta, Texas.He is the youngest of five boys, Gwen, Basiel, Kenneth and Hayward. He is survived by his wife of 52 yrs., Mary Ann, two children, Stacy and Sammy, and 4 grandchildren, Madison, Mason, Ainslee and Jessie.He has one surviving brother, Gwen Smith. He passed away peacefully on April 5th, 2019, with his wife by his side, and children and grandchildren close by. As a young man when deciding his career path, he thought construction would be interesting. He absolutely loved supervising the construction of buildings watching them rise day by day.Challenges and solving problems was his forte'. In his 20's he became a Little League baseball coach that almost became an obsession he loved it so much. It was so fulfilling to him to be a part of teaching and developing young players skills and teach them not only to excel but truly enjoy the game and have fun. This lasted for about 16 yrs. He loved to see and explore God's beautiful creations and never ceased to be amazed at what he saw. He was a God fearing man, wonderful husband, father and grandfather, and will be missed so very much. Services will be held on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at the New Hope Funeral Home, Sunnyvale, Tx. at 12 noon. Burial services will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2019 in East Texas at the Huffines Cemetary, Bivins, Tx. Huffines Baptist Church, 6502 FM 251 South
