Arlis Swiger

Arlis Joe Swiger ("Joe"), age 64, passed away on December 31, 2023. Joe was born on August 16, 1959, in Philippi, West Virginia to Argyle Swiger and Ada Wilkins.

Joe was best known for his love of football and could always be seen in the garage on Sundays watching the Pittsburg Steelers and Dallas Cowboys next to his beloved red corvette and dogs, Kody, Rocco and Molly. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his friends and family. He truly loved each of them and if you knew him, you knew it.

Joe married Kristy Swiger of Forney, Texas on March 12, 2010, in Forney, Texas. He was preceded in death by Ada Wilkins (Mother), Argyle Swiger (Father).

Joe is survived by his wife, Kristy Swiger, and four children, Joseph Curtis Swiger, Madison Elizabeth Wheeler, Hannah Marie McBride, and Allyson Abigail Wheeler, as well as his three grandchildren, Hunter Swiger, Alidian Eagle, and Mason Swiger, daughter-in-law Aranit Swiger and son-in-law Dakotah McBride.

Services for Arlis Joe Swiger will be held on Saturday, January 6, 2024, at 10:00 AM at Fellowship Forney with Pastor Rick Lemons officiating.
