Anthony Wayne Carpenter, Born December 28, 1969, Dallas, Texas Died April 4, 2015 of kidney and liver failure after struggling with many health issues for the last 20 years. Survived by his parents Wayne and Jane Carpenter, Sister Kylene Carpenter, Partner Jeff Medley, Nephews Collin Carpenter and Chase Cotton, Grand Niece Aleeha Cotton Education:Public School, Grades 1 – 12 Garland, Texas, Graduated 1987 College: Ambassador College, Big Sandy, Texas and Pasadena, California, 1987 – 1989, Graduated with Associate Degree Work History: While in high school worked at a bakery/donut shop before heading off to school, getting up at 4 am. After college worked at Blockbuster for a couple of years, also for about 9 months to a year worked as a dance instructor at an Arthur Murray studio. Tony also volunteered his time to work at the Dallas Arboretum. Then worked for TXU electric company at their call center where he was so good at his job he became the trainer, while in this job he went to the Philippines several times to train people there and made many lifelong friends as he trained them, who even today say he made a difference in their lives and called him Sir Anthony, and this started him off on his career as a corporate trainer for several other companies over the years. He played piano, violin, and bassoon, participated in and won many talent contests at church and school. He practiced many long hours as a teenager, loved music and had a yearning to have a career as a musician. He also had a unique talent as an artist, his designs in high school were selected as the theme for the yearbook and senior t-shirt. As an adult he participated in community theaters in Rockwall, Garland, and Mesquite. He started off by working on and designing stage sets, became interested in acting, acted in many plays, too numerous to mention, also was an assistance director in 2 plays, and Director for 2 other plays. Won several awards while participating in this medium.
