Annie Martin

Annie Martin, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on September 2, 2023, in Mesquite, Texas. She was born on January 18, 1946, in Tom, Oklahoma.

Annie was the loving daughter of Tom Posey and Gladys Mae Sterling Posey. She grew up with a large and tight-knit family, including her brothers Harold Posey, George Posey, Charlie Posey, Johnnie Posey, Raymond Posey, Robert Posey and her sisters Loraine Mulky, Ruby Irene Wolfe and Wilmanell Chambers. Annie cherished the memories she created with her siblings throughout their lives.

In 1964, Annie married the love of her life, Robert Martin. Their marriage was built on a strong foundation of love and commitment that lasted for nearly six decades. Together they weathered life's challenges and celebrated its joys.

Annie was a devoted mother to her children Andrea Stanglin, Rhonda Pina and Tiffany Kelley. She was known for her unconditional love and unwavering support as she guided them through life's ups and downs.

As a grandmother to Felicia Pina, Courtney Nichols, Victoria Pina, Sean Kelley, Julius Stanglin and Kylie Kelley; Annie always found joy in spending time with her grandchildren. She treasured each moment shared with them and embraced the opportunity to impart wisdom and create everlasting memories.

Annie's legacy continues through her great-grandchildren John David Nichols and Kinsley Mae Elaine Nichols. She adored these little ones dearly and looked forward to watching them grow.

Throughout her life journey, Annie was an incredible woman who touched the lives of those around her with kindness and compassion. Her caring nature extended beyond her immediate family as she formed deep connections with friends who became family over the years.

Annie Martin will be deeply missed but never forgotten. Her legacy of love, strength, and resilience will continue to live on in the hearts of all who had the honor of knowing her. Though we mourn her departure from this world, we take solace in the knowledge that she is now reunited with those who passed before her.

She is Preceded in death by Parents Tom Posey and Gladys Mae Sterling Posey, her daughter Rhonda Pina, her brothers Harold Posey, George Posey, Charlie Posey, Johnnie Posey, Raymond Posey, Robert Posey, and her sisters Loraine Mulky, Ruby Irene Wolfe, and Willmanell Chambers.

Annie is survived by her husband Robert Martin, her children; Andrea (Brandon) Stanglin, Tiffany (John) Kelley and son in law David Pina. Her Grandchildren; Felicia Pina, Courtney (John H) Nichols Jr., Victoria Pina, Sean Kelley, Julius Stanglin and Kylie Kelley. Her Great-Grandchildren; John David Nichols and Kinsley Mae Elaine Nichols.
