Anita Stone

Anita Jo Stone was born July 18, 1946 and passed away peacefully on Friday, January 26, 2024 at the Mesquite Christian Care Center.

Anita graduated from East Texas State University in 1986 and retired from the Mesquite Independent School District where she worked as an elementary ESL teacher. She loved attending church, teaching children, and spending time with her family.

Anita was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Earnest Stone; and her parents, Hoyal and Geraldine Prichard.

She is survived by her sons, James Stone and wife Jeannie, and Neil Stone and wife Suzanna; grand-children, Julia Elise Stone, Indy Pacific Stone, and Lyla Avalon Stone.
