Amy Kathryn Wilkes

WILKES, Amy Kathryn of Garland, born August 31, 1989, passed away November 9, 2012. Amy passed away unexpectedly in her sleep. Amy was born in Dallas, raised in Garland, and graduated from Dallas Christian High School in 2007. She attended ACU and Texas Tech. Most recently she had been working with her father. Amy loved dancing and art and continued to paint as a hobby. Preceded in death by her mother Deborah Wilkes. She is survived by her father Stephen Wilkes, boyfriend Tim Carey, brother Paul Wilkes, sister-in-law Megan Wilkes, close friend Kendra Darling along with countless other friends and family who were blessed to know her. Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday November 12, 2012 at New Hope Funeral Home Chapel. Interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 4:00 Sunday November 11, 2012at New Hope Funeral Home
