Amy Cordova Scott was born September 21, 1970 and passed December 13, 2011 after a courageous2 ½ year battle with cancer, Amy passed away peacefully surrounded by her loved ones. Amy was born and raised in Dallas Texas and graduated from South Grand Prairie High School. She then moved to Houston to study at the Art Institute of Houston and later became co owner of All Star Tae Kwon Do School. Amy was the oldest of three children to Nick Cordova and Dora Castillo and the beloved wife of Anthony Scott for over 11 years. Amy will always be remembered by her devoted sisters, LetisiaRobinson and Lorena Mont Louis-Bonnaire, and her half sisters Yvette Castillo and Jacqueline Cordova, along with countless family and friends who were blessed to know her. Amy loved to be with her family, having fun with friends and teaching Taekwondo. In her teenage years Amy was very active in the church as the president of the youth group and the Director of the choir at Arcadia Park Baptist Church.After going to college and studying photography at the Art Institute, she met her husband Anthony which led them to open All Star Tae Kwon do. This was her passion. For over 10 years she dedicated her life working with adults and children in the community. Amy touched many lives as an instructor with her generosity, loyalty and her trade mark smile. In 2009 Amy was diagnosed with stage 4 breast cancer but she felt that she had much more to do in this world and would not go down without a fight. During her journey she continued to live life to the fullest and was committed to fight it until the end. She inspired family, friends and people she didnt even know and continues to be an inspiration to all. Amy is survived by her husband Anothy Scott, dad Nick Cordova, mom Dora Castillo, sisters Letisia Robinson, and Lorena Mont Louis-Bonn, half sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and many friends.
