Amanda Lura Counts was born January 15, 1921 in Coke, Texas to Pursley and Dora Radney. She passed away on February 26, 2011. She was preceded in death by her parents and her son Malcolm Counts and 4 brothers and 5 sisters. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, Dan Counts, and her son Randy Counts. Also survived by her sister Bertha Faye Oglesby and numerous nieces and nephews. Services will be Saturday, March 5, 2011 at 10:00 AM at New Hope Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday night from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
