Deceased:Alvin Vernon (Johnny) Conner DOB:3/2/1940 DOD: 11/22/2013 Place of Birth:Corsicana, Texas Preceded in death by parents Melvin and Zella Conner.Sisters - Mamie Conner, Juanita Conner and Wanda Sue Conner.Brothers – Calvert Conner and Chester Conner.Daughters - Rebecca Conner and Robin Conner Nichols. Survived by Margaret Wright; Daughters: Rhonda Ray and husband Thomas; Rashelle Bell and husband Cody; Regina Bell; Misty Ryan and husband Paul.Sons:Ty Conner and wife Leann; Michael Wright and wife Tracy.Sister:Gelene Benefield and husband Nathan.Twelve grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, numerous aunts, nieces, nephews, and many close friends. Johnny was very proud to have served in the U. S. Army.He was an active member of the Mesquite Elks Lodge 2404 for 26 years, and had many friends who he considered to be his "extended family”. Memorial Service will be Saturday December 14, 2013 at 2:00 PM at New Hope Funeral Home, 500 East Hwy. 80, Sunnyvale, TX 75182.
