Allegra Belle Chapman

Chapman, Allegra Belle was born January 16, 1919 in Heath, TX; member of the 1936 graduation classing of Forney High School. She was married to William "Clint" Chapman of 63 wonderful years; she worked with Clint for 45 years at Anderson-Clayton Funeral Home in Forney as well as working for the City of Forney for many years.She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite for over 45 years. She was also a member of the Forney Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star for 50 years. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Clint, and two brothers, Weldon and James Lowe Futrell; one sister, Faye Futrell.She was survived by her son, Dan Chapman and wife, Cassey of Forney; four grandchildren, Kyle Chapman & wife, Alecia, Cole Hobbs, Jessica Chapman and Taylor Chapman; four sisters, Amedrith Peck, Toni Kidd, Ava Jewell Norred and Dorothy Peoples.She is also survived by a number of nieces and nephews. Services will be 10:30AM Thursday May 25, 2006 at the First Presbyterian Church of Mesquite, 1028 S. Belt Line Rd., Mesquite, TX. 75149.Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 6:00PM - 8:00PM.Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery, Forney, TX.
