Alice Jean Barnes

Barnes, Alice Jean of Garland. On April 21, 2014 God called another Angel to be by his side.Alice Jean Barnes was born on October 9, 1945 .On April 12, 1963,Alice Jean Wallace married John David Barnes with whom she shared 51 wonderful years.Alice was very loving and giving of herself. She was a wonderful wife, mother, sister, aunt, momsi, grandmomma and friend.Early in her life she was a homemaker and thenbecame an accountant when her sons were grown. Preceded in death by parents, Bud & Lilly Wallace; sister, Johnnie Schultz. Survived by husband of 51 years, David Barnes; son, Randy Barnes & wife, Barbie; son, Rusty Barnes; grandchild, Riley Barnes; sister, Joyce Wallace; numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be 12:00PM Friday April 25, 2014 at New Hope Funeral Home, and will have visitation Thursday at the funeral home, Thursday from 5PM – 7PM. Interment in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
