Alex Samuel Alexander

On Thursday, July 16th, 2020, Pastor Alex Samuel Alexander, loving husband, father of six children and grandfather of four grandchildren, was called home at the age of 71. Pr. Alex was born on October 20th, 1948 in Cheruthana, Kerala in India to Pastor A.G. Samuel and Dr. Aleyamma (Mathew) Samuel. On June 28th, 1980, he married Ponnamma Alexander (Thomas) and remained married for forty years. They raised six children together, three sons and three daughters, Achsah (Elizabeth), Abigail (Abi), Ashish (Sam), Feeba, Blessan (Tommy), and Joseph (Josan). Pr. Alex had a passion for sharing the gospel. He loved encouraging others with the word of God. He was a man who lived by faith and helped others to do so as well. He believed in divine healing. He loved God with all his heart. He was unwavering in his faith. His faithfulness to the Lord Jesus Christ knew no bounds. From the most significant storm to the smallest struggle, Pr. Alex knew that God was always in control and would deliver him from any situation. He served in various ministerial capacities as street evangelism, Church Pastor, Military chaplain, Missionary, etc. He ministered in Kerala, Maharashtra, Gujarat and various cities in the US and around the world. He migrated with his family to the US in May 1985 and settled in OKC, Oklahoma. The family moved to Dallas in Dec 2000 and settled in Mesquite, TX. He loved spending time with family and friends. He enjoyed traveling and having deep conversations on various topics. He was always willing to help those in need. He had a giving heart. He would always go above and beyond for anyone who sought his help, in any matter and even for those that he didn’t know personally. He is survived by his wife Ponnamma, his children, Achsah (Vinod), Abigail (Neel), Ashish (Jeslin), Feeba (Vimal), Blessan (Ans), Joseph and grandchildren, Jayden, Promise, Nathaniel and Jianna.
