A.J. (Johnny) Shanz

SHANZ, A. J. (Johnny) born August 29, 1937 passed away March 13, 2009. He was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Ida Lee Shanz, brother-in-law, Forest Lee Simmons. He is survived by wife, Barbara; son, Robert and wife Carolyn Shanz and son, Billy Wayne and wife Mary Shanz; brother Billy Shanz; sister Mary Simmons and numerous extended family, grandchildren, great grandchildren and nephews. Graveside service will be 11:00AM Tuesday March 17, 2009 on Lane B at DFW National Cemetery, Dallas, TX. Due to the rules of the DFW National Cemetery only allowing 2 wreaths, please make any contributions to the American Cancer Society, American Heart Association or charity of choice. Memorial service will be Sunday 2:00PM March 22, 2009 at Oak Grove Baptist Church, 2595 Haymarket Rd., Dallas, TX. 75253.
