Abbie Paris

PARIS, Abbie, born September 16, 1916, passed away May 4, 2010. In Gods creation of a beautiful bouquet, Abbie was a special rose. She and husband Roy were blessed with two daughters, June Paris Rogan Williams of Lake Cypress Springs, TX, and Joy Paris Paschall of Garland, TX. Abbie and Roy joined South Harwood Missionary Baptist Church in 1948 and were faithful servants of God. Through happy and sad times, Abbie kept her faith. Widowed in 1975, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Keith and a granddaughter, Sandy. She was the rock of the family. Her lineage was long. Everyone loved to go to her house and eat her fried chicken cooked in the iron skillet with the red top. Family visitation will be Thursday evening at New Hope from 6:00PM " 8:00PM.
